Girl’s hand scalded pouring Arabic coffee at school

Asir –  A primary school girl got severely hurt as she was pouring hot Arabic coffee to the mothers of new students in the province of Asir.

The Directorate of Education set up a probe committee into the incident which happened at Al-Wadain Primary school in the governorate of Ohud Rafida.

A picture of 12-year's hand with scalded skin was posted on the social media prompting the authorities to launch an inquiry.

Asir Education Directorate media spokesman Mohammed Al-Fifi said that administrative and disciplinary measures would be taken, pending results of the investigation.

The 6th primary student who sustained first-degree burns was taken to the health centre for treatment as the school staff used just Vaseline to treat her.
