Muscat: A 21-year-old Omani woman who went missing on Thursday has been found, the Royal Oman Police has announced.
The woman, identified as Halima Hassan Al Shamsi, was found in “good health” in Salalah in the province of Dhofar, Times of Oman reported.
The police gave no information about the way the woman reached Salalah, away from home.
The police had launched a search operation to find the whereabouts of the woman who went missing from the Wilayat of Liwa in Nothern Batinah.
“The police have found her in the Wilayat of Salalah in Dhofar governorate. She is in good health, work is underway to hand her over her to her family”, said the statement.
Ms. Al-Shamsi is mother of two children.
