Justin Theroux has finally broken his silence over his split from Jennifer Aniston, calling it a gentle separation.
According to a report by The New York Times, Theroux, commenting on his separation, said that the good part was that their split was a gentle one.
Talking about the reason behind the spit, Theroux said that there are small events that took place but they seemed big because of the big headlines and speculations.
Commenting on their present situation and how well they both dealt with the split, Theroux said that neither one of them is dead nor any of them is looking to throw hatchets at each other.
He did mention that he was heartbroken about the fact that their friendship would not be the same.
It seems like both Justin Theroux and Jennifer Aniston are on the same page as far as their relationship is concerned. In August, the 'friends' star had said that she wasn't heartbroken after the split.
The ex-Hollywood couple called it quits in February. "In an effort to reduce any further speculation, we have decided to announce our separation. This decision was mutual and lovingly made at the end of last year," the couple had said in a joint statement to E! Online.
Aniston and Theroux began dating in May of 2011 and got engaged in August 2012, followed by a wedding on August 5, 2015, at their home in Bel-Air.
