Djamil Chan, who holds the record for the fastest knockout in Brave Combat Federation, is scheduled to compete in the 18th edition of the event hosted in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
Chan, fighting out of Netherlands, has also extended his fight contract with Brave Combat Federation.
He knocked out Alejandro Martinez in 29 seconds at Brave 14 hosted in Tangier, Morocco. At Brave 18, Chan will face Luan Santiago, the 2016 Brazilian Fighter of the Year.
Santiago had been sidelined during the year following an injury that occurred during Brave 11 where he competed for the interim lightweight championship which was introduced since Ottman Azaitar was denied to face both fighters.
“This is one of the most explosive bouts in the fight card. You have two fighters who have explosive strength and interesting fighting style that will thrill the audience,” said Brave Combat Federation president Mohammed Shahid.
“Both fighters have 80% of their wins coming by way of knockouts in their respective careers. This is a fight that the MMA community around the world cannot afford to miss.”
