Saudi air force intercepts ballistic missile

The Saudi Royal Air Force intercepted a ballistic missile which was launched by the Iran-backed Houthi militias in Yemen.

The scud missile which was launched from the Governorate of Sa’ada was destroyed as it was heading to the province of Najran in Southern Saudi Arabia.

Saudi-led Arab military alliance official spokesman Colonel Turki Al-Malki said that the interception of the missile did not result in any casualties.

The Houthi militias have so far launched 204 missiles against Saudi territories, leaving 112 civilians dead and hundreds others of injured.
