Indonesian domestic workers to go back to Saudi

An agreement allowing Indonesian domestic helpers to work again in Saudi Arabia was signed in Jakarta, SPA reported.

Saudi Labour and Social Development Minister Ahmad bin Suleiman Al Rajihi sealed the deal with Indonesian Minister of Manpower and Transmigration Muhammad Hanif Dhakiri.

The two ministries launched a one-channel electronic system for employment of Indonesian labourers, aiming at facilitating and accelerating measures of sending and recruiting the domestic workers in Saudi Arabia as well as maintaining the contractual rights of the parties.
