Sharjah – Fifty Saudi artifacts will go on display for the first time in the United Arab Emirates.
The archaeological finds will be showcased at a major exhibition which will be hosted Sharjah Museum of Antiquities, in cooperation with the Saudi Commission for Tourism and National Heritage.
Titled “Echoes of Caravans: Pre-Islam Saudi Civilisation”, the exhibition will open on Wednesday and run until the 31st of January 2019.
The archeological expo will highlight aspects of trade and cultural relations which marked the Arabian Peninsula before originated in Mecca and Medina at the start of the 7th century
The finds which were excavated in mainly in Najran, Al-Alaa and Taima’a in Saudi Arabia, stand as a testament to deep-rooted historical ties, customs and traditions linking people in the Arabian Peninsula.
