Bahrain-based Janeen Fertility and Genetic Centre has been congratulated by Accreditation Canada, a healthcare accreditation body, for meeting international standards of excellence in quality care and services.
It has been awarded platinum from June 2018 to June 2020 and is the first fertility centre in Bahrain to receive the prestigious accreditation from the awarding body.
The award shows Accreditation Canada’s approval of the centre’s quality services.
The Canadian Accreditation is one of the key pillars through which the centre aspires to boost quality and efficiency standards in the foreseeable future.
This will support the centre’s endeavour to keep pace with the latest developments in global standards of healthcare services and bring it to Bahrain’s citizens and residents.
The centre’s mission is to support its patients to achieve their dream of parenthood, by providing high-quality, safe and affordable treatment.
Its vision is to be the regional centre of excellence in the GCC. The centre provides a range of services including invitrofertilisation (IVF) and intracytoplasm sperm injection, intrauterine insemination, ovulation induction and follicular monitoring, assisted hatching, blastocyst culture, frozen embryo cycle, freezing of embryo / sperm / egg, semen analysis, testicular sperm aspiration and cryopreservation and genetic counselling and testing.
Gynaecology services provided are consultation and surgical procedures including endoscopy and obstetrics services include antenatal care and foetal screening.
