Riyadh – Three Saudi nationals convicted of killing five Indian expatriates have been executed in the Eastern Province.
The Criminal Court found the defendants guilty of killing the Indian nationals and sentenced them to capital punishment, said the Saudi Press Agency.
According to the Saudi News Agency (SPA), the convicts lured the Indian expats to a farm where they killed them.
They were convicted of drugging the victims, by putting some pills in their drinks, before tying them and beating them up to death.
A police investigation revealed that the killers had buried the Indians in a hole they had dug, after stealing their money and cellphones. The Public Prosecution charged the trio with setting up a liquor factory and smoking hash.
