Attempt to smuggle five million amphetamine pills foiled

Kuwait City – The customs authorities foiled an attempt to smuggle a massive quantity of amphetamine pills into Kuwait.
The on-duty officers at the Shuwaikh seaport screened a large shipment of ketchup imported from Syria and discovered up to one million tablets.
Police Investigations are underway to locate and arrested the suspects who imported the shipment, which contained around five million Captagon pills valued at KD12 million.
