Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Supreme Council for Youth and Sports first deputy president, Bahrain Mixed Martial Arts Federation (BMMAF) honorary president, and Bahrain International Combat Week High Organising Committee president, visited the Khalifa Sports City’s Gym ahead of the upcoming Brave International Combat Week.
Meanwhile, Hamza Kooheji, the first professional mixed martial artist from Bahrain, is confident the upcoming Brave International Combat Week will serve as a crowning glory this year for the Kingdom of Bahrain in the sport of mixed martial arts.
Kooheji is the first to represent the Kingdom in the professional division at the global level.
“The Bahrain National Team at KHK MMA is doing their best to ensure that the Kingdom of Bahrain dominates the world championships,” said the youth icon who was invited to Bahrain Radio to speak about the latest initiative and progress that the Kingdom has achieved in MMA.
“The support and motivation we receive from our leader, His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, is a major strength for all of us.”
