MOHAMMED Buhaza'a will realise his dream of being part of a Mixed Martial Arts event tonight at 7.30pm during the launch of the Brave International Combat Week 2018 at the Khalifa Sports City Stadium in Isa Town.
The youngster, who is battling down syndrome, will spar with Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the founder of KHK Heroes and KHK MMA Bahrain Fight Team.
Shaikh Khalid personally invited Buhaza’a to train at the KHK Gym under the supervision of professional MMA coaches and KHK fighters.
The event is being held with an aim to send the message of 'inclusivity and inspiring global compassion'.
The event is Shaikh Khalid's special initiative to put Buhaza'a in the limelight and create awareness and a much required change in perspective when it comes to inclusivity of people with special needs.
"KHK Heroes is an initiative that speaks for itself. Social commitment and compassion are the ultimate mark of success of any project," said Mohammed Shahid, president of Brave Combat Federation.
"With KHK Heroes, Bahrain aims to transform the lives of the underprivileged. The initiative by Shaikh Khalid will bring individuals to the forefront of society and motivate them to achieve more."
Brave International Combat Week is the largest combat sports event to be held in Asia bringing together participants from over 11 nations for the largest IMMAF-WMMAA Unified World Championships 2018 till date.
