THE Bahrain Basketball Association (BBA) announced yesterday that it will be hosting an All-Star Festival on December 16 and 17.
The event will be held as part of the BBA’s celebrations marking the Kingdom of Bahrain’s National Day and His Majesty King Hamad’s accession to the throne.
The festival will include all sorts of competitions, including a three-on-three tournament, three-point shootout, a skills competition, a dunk contest, and an All-Star Game featuring Bahrain’s top players.
BBA board members and competitions committee chairman Anwar Sharaf said that the BBA’s preparations for the festival are well underway and they will soon be finalised.
He added that, following the directives of BBA president Shaikh Isa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, all set-up work is being completed as soon as possible and to the highest standards.
