Washington D.C.: 'Maze Runner's Dylan O'Brien will lend his voice to the title Autobot, Bumblebee, in the upcoming 'Transformers' spin-off.
The yellow-and-black Transformer has not had a distinct voice in any of the previous instalments and the 'Teen Wolf' actor will be the first one to voice Bee, reports Deadline.
Meanwhile, apart from Bumblebee, the spinoff will also include the Generation 1 version of Optimus Prime and several Decepticons.
Starring Hailee Steinfeld, the origin story is set in the year 1987, where Bumblebee finds refuge in a junkyard in a small California beach town. The 'Begin Again' actor plays the role of Charlie Watson, a teenage girl who discovers that her yellow Volkswagen Beetle is a giant alien robot.
The Travis Knight-directorial also features John Cena, Pamela Adlon, Stephen Schneider, Jorge Lendeborg Jr., Jason Drucker and Kenneth Choi, among others. It will hit the big screens on December 21.
