Around 400 workers were offered free medical services at a health camp organised by the American Mission Hospital (AMH) and the National Evangelical Church’s English Language Congregation (ELC) at Al Ghannah labour camp in Askar for the third consecutive year. Dr Babu Ramchandran from AMH and Susan Madhuri Pulavarthy from ELC led a team of 100 volunteers to run the camp. Also present were chaplain Keith Krebbs from AMH, Rev Andrew Smothers, associate pastor of ELC along with a team of 10 doctors and 15 nurses. The camp is part of AMH’s ongoing community service that includes the opening of the Zwemer Clinic for low wage workers. Above, workers registering for free medical care.
