Burj Khalifa to light up in Bahrain’s national colours

Abu Dhabi: The iconic Burj Khalifa will join festivities marking Bahrain’s 47th National Day and the 19th anniversary of His Majesty’s accession to the throne.

The tallest structure in the world will light up in red and white colours of Bahrain's national flag on Sunday and Monday at 6.40pm, 7.40pm and 8.40pm.

Meanwhile, UAE President Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan sent a cable of congratulations to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa on Bahrain's National Day.

UAE Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces Shaikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan also sent congratulatory cables to HM the King.
