Brave 20, the first Mixed Martial Arts event taking place in India, will be covered by a UAE-based premium broadcast network.
Brave Combat Federation has confirmed that Abu Dhabi Sports will cover Brave 20 which is set for December 22 at Gachibowli Arena in Hyderabad. The network will provide the highest global exposure to an event taking place in India.
Abu Dhabi Sports will broadcast the event live in the Middle East and North Africa.
The event marks the second time the Bahrain-based global mixed martial arts organisation is hosting an event in India. The fifth edition of the promotion took place on April 23 at the Dome Arena in Mumbai.
The initiative to host an event in India under the patronage of Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa was praised for giving Indian athletes a platform to compete and showcase their skills globally.
Eight Indian fighters will have an opportunity to compete globally for the first time. Two of them, Kantaraj Agasa, and Nelson Paes, will compete in a global Mixed Martial Arts promotion for the first time.
The event will start at 6pm and feature 10 professional fights including a women’s strawweight bout.
