The Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC) started a new strategy to hold regular meetings with representatives of national sports federations in an attempt to have constant updates on their problems and needs.
The approach is in line with the directives of Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, representative of His Majesty the King for Charity Works and Youth Affairs, Supreme Council for Youth and Sports chairman, and BOC president.
Supreme Council for Youth and Sports assistant secretary general and Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC) secretary general Abdulrahman Askar said the committee will now have two days per week to schedule meetings with the federations. Those regular meetings will be held on Mondays and Wednesdays.
“The weekly meetings aims to learn about the observations, queries, needs, suggestions and solutions of the federations in accordance with the legal and administrative frameworks in accordance with the regulations Bahrain Olympic Committee,” said Askar. he pointed out that the Committee’s majlis will also be open from December 24, for a specific time to be declared late on through the committee’s official social networks.
