BAHRAIN’S rising race car driver Hussain Hasan participated in a two-day winter test earlier this week at Circuit Ricardo Tormo in Valencia, Spain.
The 17-year-old got behind the wheel of a Formula Renault 1.6 car as he took on the 4.005-kilometre track, which is a host of MotoGP and which also often stages off-season testing for Formula One teams.
Hussain was one of 45 young drivers from 20 countries taking part in the test. He was invited by Formula de Campeones racing school.
Hussain started his racing career in 2014 competing in the Rotax junior category in local karting. Now a prominent member of the Bahrain-based Absolute Racing team, he now competes at the highest levels of international karting while also making his name in other race categories.
