Abu Dhabi – A top UAE official slammed the opening of an office in Baghdad, Iraq, for the so-called “February 14 Youth Coalition in Bahrain”.
UAE Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Dr Anwar Mohammed Gargash condemned the move which, he said, represents a “dangerous precedent for interference in internal affairs”.
“We stand firmly with the Kingdom of Bahrain in rejecting the legitimization of the so-called coalition which used violence in a bid to subvert its security”, he said on his Twitter account.
He said that respect of sovereignty and non-interference in internal affairs represent a key basis of pan-Arab work.
