Riyadh – Five Saudi nationals who sneaked into the College of Medicine at the King Abdulaziz University and 'danced with corpses' on New Year eve have been arrested.
A Yemeni expatriate working at the section of refrigeration and air-conditioning has also been arrested after allowing his friends access to the morgue, filming them and taking photos.
Saudi King’s Advisor and Mecca Governor Prince Khalid Al-Faisal gave orders to arrest the suspects following a 120-second video recording which was posted on social media websites, sparking outrage.
The police in the city of Jeddah seized the mobile phone , which was used in taking a video recording and photos, and referred the suspects to the Public Prosecution to be charged.
King Abdulaziz University spokesman Dr. Sharea Al-Baqmi said that the incident happened last night at 11 pm as the world was about to celebrate the advent of the New Year.
