BAHRAIN Rugby Football Club (BRFC) ‘A’ posted a convincing 42-9 victory over British Club ‘C’ in the Bahrain Netball League last night.

The victors raced out to a 14-2 lead at the end of the first quarter; which they stretched to 24-3 at the half. It was more of the same in the final two quarters, as BRFC ‘A’ closed out the big win.

Goalkeeper Kelly Anne Hutton was named the Player of the Match for the winners, while and Goal Attack Alex was selected as her team’s best performer in the loss.

Also victorious yesterday were Topshots. They beat British Club ‘B’ 29-11.

After a slow start, Top Shots managed to pull away for a big lead after scoring 11 goals in the second period to take a 15-5 advantage at the interval. They then led 23-7 after three, after which they cruised in the final frame.

Wing Defence Vikki Hughes-Swick and Goal Defence Laura were named the Player of the Match of their respective squads.

Finally, last night, winning their games by default were British Club ‘A’ over BRFC ‘C’ and Sri Lanka ‘B’ against BRFC ‘B’
