Six terror suspects wanted in security cases were killed in the region of Al-Qatif in the Eastern province.
The Saudi Security Presidency identified the six terrorists as Abdulmohsen Taher Mohammed Al-Aswad, Ammar Nasser Ali Al Buabdalla, Ali Hassan Ali Al Buabdalla, Abdulmohsen Abdulaziz Al-Buabdalla, Mohammed Hussein makki Shabeeb and Yahya Zakaria Mahdi Al-Ammar.
They were all killed in a pre-emptive police operation which was carried out early last Monday in the village of Al-Jish.

The fugitives who were surrounded inside a house in the village refused to surrender and opened fire on the policemen who gunned them down, said a statement posted on the state-run Saudi Press Agency.
The seventh terrorist Adel Jaffer Tahifa sustained injuries during the clashes. He was taken to the hospital and is said to be in stable condition.
Five policemen were slightly injured but no casualties were reported among civilians living in the neighbourhood.
The security forces seized 7 machine guns, three hand grenades, a pistol, 593 machine gun bullets, 30 pistol bullets, 21 magazines and 22 cell phones.
