The owner and operator of a bakery that was closed down for health violations has been remanded in custody for seven days as investigations continue.
The Public Prosecution said in a statement the owner and the operator of the bakery called 'Al Deera' has been charged with carrying out a commercial activity without a permit and handling foodstuff without obtaining a licence from the competent authority .
