King Abdulla II ibn Al-Hussein of Jordan invited a street cleaner at his royal palace to watch the special private viewing of Thursday's Asian Cup game match between Jordan and Syria, during which Jordan routed Syria 2-0.
The Jordanian monarch invited Khalid Al-Shomali who was seen in a picture standing outside a cafe peering through a glass window to catch a glimpse of a previous match, according to Almowaten.
The picture which showed the worker in his uniform went viral on social media websites.
Jordan now totals 6 points and tops its group from two matches after stunning Australia 1-0 in the first match.
