Riyadh – Doctors in Saudi Arabia removed dozens of plastic pieces from the stomach of a teenage boy at King Fahd Hospital in Jeddah.
A team of surgeons conducted an operation on the 16-year-old patient and removed more than 30 items which included footballs, balloons and plastic used in wrapping fast-food meals.
The boy was admitted to the hospital after suffering from acute pain in his abdomen, vomiting and psychological problems.
Doctors scanned the patient and discovered a hole in his stomach, caused by the harmful plastic items.
