Ahmed Al Sayed defeated Ali Al Lyesh 6-2 to reach the semi-finals of the Unisex 9-10 singles division in the seventh E K Kanoo Juniors Open Mini Tennis Championship being played at the Bahrain Tennis Club courts.
In the semi-final, Ahmed will face Ali Al Ahmed who beat Abdul Rahman Al Dossari 6-2 in their last-eight clash.
Haiyder Al Fareed will take on Hashim Al Tobli in the other semi-final. In their quarter-finals, Haiyder held off Leanne Sinocruz 6-3 while Hashim eased past Hussain Jaleel 6-1.
