CBB proposes licences for robo-advisory

MANAMA: Bahrain is considering granting licences to robo-advisory firms under draft rules that were opened up for consultation yesterday. In a statement, the Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB) said it is issuing draft directives on Digital Financial Advice (also known as robo-advisory) enabling licensees to use technology to offer financial advice to their clients.
