A PROPOSAL to make it compulsory for children’s nurseries to have a curriculum was rejected by the Shura Council yesterday.
Recommending a rejection of amendments to the 2012 Child Law was the woman and child committee which said Bahrain was a pioneer in drafting legislation that provided a healthy overall environment for children in line with agreements with the UN and other authorities, but nurseries provide support skills for education and were not a foundation for education .
