The 10-year challenge might be the usual trend for many teens and celebrities, but for Indian film actress and playback singer Mamta Mohandas, the past 10 years were a period of recognising her own strength.
In 2009 the actor, who predominantly works in Malayalam films along with Telugu and Tamil productions, was facing one of the biggest challenges of her life.
Mamta, who studied at the Indian School Bahrain until 2002, was diagnosed with Hodgkin's lymphoma and was undergoing treatment during the time.
As cancer is regarded as one of the deadliest diseases ever seen, fighting the disease is a bit difficult for many.
But the actress chose to fight with all her strength. From 2009 to 2019 she has faced some crucial events including the life-threatening disease as well as some personal flaws. But neither the disease nor other individuals were able to let her down.
On 'World Cancer Day' the actress has shared an inspiring note of her success story. The actress took to her Instagram handle to share her 10-year challenge photographs.
