Lawyers present arguments in terror case

LAWYERS jockeyed for space in the High Criminal Court yesterday as they defended more than 40 defendants accused of belonging to Bahraini Hizbollah. They are among 169 people charged with belonging to the terrorist network, which was allegedly behind plots to assassinate police and prominent figures during National Day celebrations, blow up oil pipelines, attack oil tankers and murder guards protecting homes of VIPs to steal their weapons.
