A SUCCESSFUL move away from social media for teenage students in Bahrain needs to be combined with interesting alternatives for when they are not in lessons.
These should include a range of activities, such as sports, arts, music, drama and science clubs, cosy spaces for quiet reading, access to board games and games equipment such as table tennis or football, a clam and welcoming reflection room with books, colouring and wellbeing magazines, and also the provision of spaces where students can interact positively with their friends, both inside and in the school grounds .
