AL SHABAB routed Al Hala 4-0 in the 11th week of Nasser bin Hamad Football Premier League last night at Bahrain National Stadium.
The win helped Al Shabab to move up one place from the bottom with nine points while Al Hala slumped to the bottom spot on eight points.
Al Shabab surprised Al Hala taking the lead after just two minutes through Cameroon’s Arnest.
Al Hala went down to 10 men in the 31st minute when the referee showed the red card to defender Ali Burshaid for a bad foul against Al Shabab’s Hassan Madan.
Al Shabab made the most of an extra man on the field in the second-half scoring three more goals.
Arnest scored his second in the 54th minute and Nigerian Prince notched his own brace with goals in the 56th and 90th minutes to complete the rout.
