Artist to inspire young talent
AN artist who works with unorthodox materials will lead a workshop this weekend.
Budding artists are invited to the Awareness and Inspiration Workshop where they will learn from Ali Abayoglu on how to use metal from a junk yard, and many other objects, to create masterpieces.
The event is being hosted by La Fontaine Centre of Contemporary Art on Friday and Saturday from 10am to 5.30pm on both days.
All the spots for the workshop have been filled.
It will be followed by the opening of Mr Abayoglu’s exhibition, ‘Spark’, at the same venue on March 15.
A tango performance will also take place on the opening night.

Cuban sounds in the air
