MANAMA: Students from Oman have won the first and second prize in the first edition of the Gulf Petrochemicals and Chemicals Association (GPCA) Innovation Contest held as part of the 6th Research and Innovation Summit in Bahrain.
Athari Muhammed Al Hosni from Caledonian College of Engineering of the National University of Science and Technology in Oman won first place and a cash prize of 10,000 UAE dirhams for production of polymers from sulfur solid waste .
