Abu Dhabi - A UAE delegation visited the city of Christchurch, New Zealand, in the aftermath of the terrorist attack which targeted two mosques last Friday, leaving 50 worshippers dead and dozens of others injured.
The UAE had issued a statement in solidarity with the government and people of New Zealand, backing all measures taken by the authorities in Wellington to maintain national security and stability and protect residents’ safety.
Led by Dr Ali Rashid Al-Nuaimi, the delegation commended the efforts of the New Zealand Government, especially Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern.
The delegation toured the city, visited the two mosques and met families of the worshippers who were killed or injured in the attack.
