GLOBAL hip-hop superstar Jason Derulo’s debut performance in Bahrain next weekend has been sold out.
The multi-talented US singer, songwriter and dancer will be headlining the 2019 Spring of Culture festival at Bahrain Bay on April 5, at 8.30pm.
The performer started out writing songs for Lil Wayne, Pitbull, Diddy and Sean Kingston before breaking out to become a star in his own right.
He has since sold more than 50 million singles worldwide, racked up over two billion views on YouTube, one billion plays on Spotify and has a radio audience of over 17 billion.
His career-defining platinum singles include Want to Want Me, Watcha Say, In My Head, It Girl and Ridin’ Solo.
Derulo’s 2014 album, Talk Dirty, produced five of his 11 platinum singles alone, including The Other Side, Marry Me, Wiggle (featuring Snoop Dogg), Trumpets and the eponymous single Talk Dirty (featuring 2 Chainz), which sold over six million singles and dominated music charts around the world.
Thanks to the success of Talk Dirty, Derulo joined an elite group of musical artists who have scored five platinum singles from one album.
