Al Shabab scored an injury time goal to hold Riffa to a 1-1 draw in a 15th week match of the Nasser bin Hamad Football Premier League at Khalifa Sports City Stadium in Isa Town last night.
Riffa scored the first goal in the 69th minute through Nigerian Uchenna Agba. However, Al Shabab managed score the equaliser in the injury time when Ali Hassan Saeed converted a penalty kick.
Riffa are still on top of the table with 31 points, three points ahead of second-placed Manama, while Al Shabab have 16 points.
Two matches are scheduled for today, with Muharraq taking on Al Hidd at 5.20pm and Manama facing Al Hala at 8pm. Both matches will be played at Bahrain National Stadium.
