AMA International School – Bahrain congratulates middle school Maths teacher Aysha Sulaiman on being placed third at a student case study competition led by non-profit organisation Pearl Initiative.
She was part of a group of students from the University of Bahrain (UoB) who secured their placement out of 30 universities from the region.
Participation by the students took place in partial fulfilment of the MBA in Business Ethics.
The theme of the project was ‘corporate integrity’, and the competition was open to all the universities in the Gulf region.
For their submission, the students focused on the anti-money laundering policy of Bahrain Islamic Bank (BisB).
Pearl Initiative received 70 case studies from 250 participants based around the region.
A celebratory event was held at the Higher Colleges of Technology – Dubai Women’s College; attended by the region’s top 10 submitters.
The UoB article is due for publishing by 2020 after final editions, reviewing and approval have taken place.
The project was supervised by College of Business Administration assistant professor Dr Naglaa El Dessouky.
