The most radical suggestion to ease jams is to urge the government to ban cars older than 15 years, with the aim of resolving traffic congestion, ‘Blueprint to tackle traffic jams’ (GDN, May 2).
Banning such vehicles will not only decrease traffic congestion, but also decrease the number of accidents while limiting pollution and other hazardous emissions .
