Stephen Mell, 53, from New Jersey, faces a five-year jail sentence for allegedly engaging in sexual acts with a 15-year-old girl, after putting his plane on autopilot.
The millionaire trader pleaded guilty, earlier this month, to federal charges of receiving child pornography and for engaging in sexual activities with a teenage girl and will face sentencing in July.
Mell, who owns a brokerage firm and charity named Air LifeLine, was approached by the girl’s mother so that he would give her flying lessons.
