A BAHRAINI historian has created an exact replica of an ancient instrument dating back thousands of years to the Dilmun era.
The Dilmun Lyre is a stringed instrument, which archaeologists believe may have been gold plated, was used during national occasions to greet kings and in religious celebrations including strumming melodies to calm an ox before being sacrificed to the gods .
