US: Michigan state police found a six-month-old baby girl dehydrated inside a motel room with her dead parents on Friday.
Skylah, daughter of Jessica Bramer, 26 and Christian Reed, 28 was found next to her parents’ corpses at the Rodeway Inn in Whitehall, Michigan.
State police found the child and her dead parents and drug paraphernalia in the room.
An autopsy was performed on both parents on Saturday, but toxicology reports are not expected for at least 30 days, authorities said.
Skylah was in critical condition and is being treated at Helen DeVos Children's Hospital in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
According to family members, Skylah's grandparents contacted Children's Protective Services in January as they were concerned about their grandchild's safety as her parents have been in and out of jail.
