The Saudi Customs austerities have clarified regulations for bringing in tobacco products.
Adult passengers entering Saudi Arabia are allowed to bring with them a maximum 200 cigarettes, 500 grammes and 24 cigars.
Under the specified rules, the customs officers will seize any extra quantity and the passenger shall re-export them within 15 days.
The General Authority for Zakat and Tax (GAZT) has also announced that imports of cigarettes will no longer be allowed to enter Saudi Arabia from August 23, unless they bear the mandatory customs stamps.
