Riyadh: A military projectile launched by the Iran-backed Houthi militias fell near the water desalination plant in the region of Al Shaqiq, in Saudi Arabia.
Saudi-led Arab Alliance Spokesman Colonel Turki Al Malki said that the projectile fell at 10:23pm last night without causing casualties or damaging the facility.
He said that the military and security authorities are working to determine the type of missile which was used in the attack.
Meanwhile, the Houthis made statements to the media, assuming full responsibility for the terrorist attack using a cruise missile.
“These media statements represent an outright admission of their full responsibility for the terrorist attacks targeting civilian-populated areas,” said Al Malki.
