The University College of Bahrain (UCB) is a non-profit private institution of higher education, founded by Shaikh Dr Khalid bin Mohammed Al Khalifa.
Since its inception in 2002 it has made steady progress, built on the principles of excellence and promoting critical thinking among its students to attain distinction.

The undergraduate programmes offered are business administration with the concentrations of accounting, finance, management, marketing and Islamic finance; information technology with computer science and management information systems; and communications and multimedia with graphic design, multimedia and public relations.
The university also offers an MBA programme which reflects the dynamic nature of the modern business world and aims to prepare candidates to become effective future business leaders and strategic thinkers.
The educational goals seek to develop students’ critical thinking, research, professional skills, self-motivation and teamwork.
The MBA programme covers two core concentrations, management and Islamic finance, which cover aspects of entrepreneurship, critical reflection, and the application of strategic theory and practice.
To date more than 1,700 UCB graduates from the undergraduate and MBA programmes have successfully progressed, working for Fortune Global 500 companies in the Middle East and abroad.
