Saudi Royal Air Force intercepted an explosive-laden drone this morning, thwarting an Iran-backed militia attack.
The anti-air defence systems detected the unmanned plane, which was launched from the Governorate of Omran, Yemen, and shot it down, as it was heading to hit the city of Abha, in the province of Asir in Southern Saudi Arabia, Akbhar24 reported.
Saudi-led Arab Alliance Spokesman Colonel Turki Al-Malki said that the coalition would continue targeting the positions of the terrorist militias, in compliance with the international law.
