Saudi: The Saudi Royal Air Forces intercepted explosive-laden drones launched by Iran–backed Houthi militias from the Yemeni territories.
The anti-air defence systems detected the unmanned aircraft and destroyed them before targeting civilian airports in both Najran and Asir, in Southern Saudi Arabia, said Saudi-led Arab Alliance Spokesman Turki Al Malki.
The Saudi Royal Air Forces have so far intercepted and destroyed 236 bomb-loaded and ballistic missiles targeting civilian-populated areas.
