Riyadh: The Saudi Royal Air Forces have intercepted this morning a bomb-loaded drone which was launched by the Iran-backed Houthi militias.
The air defence system detected the unmanned aircraft and destroyed it as it was headed to target the city of Khamis Mushait.
Saudi-led Arab Alliance Spokesman Colonel Turki Al-Malki said that the drone was launched from the Yemeni territories, Almarsd reported.
Two other explosive-laden drones were intercepted last Wednesday and yesterday (Friday) which were targeting Abha and Jazan in Saudi Arabia.
