A total of 608 people have received first aid training as part a nationwide project this year, revealed Bahrain Health and Safety Society (BHSS) chairman Dr Mustafa Al Sayed during a regular board of directors meeting. The initiative was led by the society with support from the Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company and a number of institutions, ministries and charities. He praised MP Dr Masooma Abdulrahim for supporting the society’s efforts to raise health and safety awareness in Bahrain. The meeting also reviewed projects and activities during the first half of the year. The project aims to have someone trained in first aid in every home.
